After another restful night we got up early had bread, jam, Nuttela and coffee. Finished packing and off we went at 7:30. Today there is a chance of rain. We have the choice of two trails. The main TMB that would take us back to 2500m that is supposed to be a gorgeous hike. The plan is to stay at another Refuge and then on to Courmayeur Italy. The second path splits from the main trail after about an hour. After our adventure in the rain a couple of days past we didn’t want to be at 2500m in the rain again so we made the call to go the second path that takes an additional 1.5 hours to a bus stop that takes us to Courmayeur. We found a great hotel in the center of town. There was a street market. We bought an apple (they are so crisp, flavorful and delicious) and munched on that until we found a place that was open for dinner. Had some pizza and salad. Back to the hotel. Richard went for a sauna. Great day. It never rained 😳 😳

The Alps are really pretty. The weather is not good tomorrow so we will stay here tomorrow and get going again
